The Big of Small Things

Parents and Grandparents often enjoy celebrating every little "first" that their kids and grandkids have. Every step, every positive effort, and every accomplishment, no matter how small...is celebrated.

They are wise in doing this. And it is not just encouragement for the next generation. They understand the value and momentum available in each small step.

Teaching children to celebrate small steps brings them resilience and resolve to keep forging ahead for the long haul. Each mountain they will climb is made up of thousands of small steps and small victories.
